MOST INDIVIDUALS,
the first and perhaps only access they have to a live
investment advisor is through their 401(k) plan. Though
only 41% actually attend the meetings according the
Boston Research Group’s DCP 2006 Participant Study, 84%
are interested in having their employer provide access
to a professional investment advisor. The smart
advisors and providers are beginning to realize that
winning 401(k) plans is a step on the road to the real
goal - form relationships with baby boomers to be in a
position to manage their money.
