I have been going to the DCPI for three years and I believe that it gets better every year. This is a fantastic chance to meet other advisers from around the country who are facing the same issues and opportunities that I face in my practice. The scheduled meetings are informative and presented by the leading names in the 401(k) industry. The panel discussions let us hear from other top level brokers to see what they are doing in their own practices that have helped to make them successful. The part that I appreciate most is just the opportunity to spend some casual days with a few hundred people in my industry to constructively discuss our practices. At this year's meeting, I also finally got to meet two TPA's from other parts of the country that have been handling some of my plans for years. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is serious about the 401(k) business.
